SAMUEL H. HALL

Samuel M. Hall was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 1962. He has practiced law for more than 32 years, primarily in the areas of personal injury, real estate, workmen’s compensation, and insurance law. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Ontario County Bar Association. Sam graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School, where he also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History. A resident of Canandaigua for more than 25 years, Sam is a former Chairman of that City’s Democratic Party. In his spare time Sam enjoys tending to his beehives and leading the local aviary community, working on his farm, and spending time with his four children and seven grandchildren.

LAURENCE M. KARZ

Laurence M. Karz was admitted to the New York Bar in 1977 and was further admitted to the United States District Court Western District of New York on January 19, 1993 and admitted to the United States Bankruptcy Court Western District of New York on October 21, 2003. After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law, Laurence spent one year providing volunteer legal services with Alaska Legal Services. Laurence practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, products liability, real estate law, and insurance law.
Laurence has lived in Canandaigua for more than 25 years. Since 1997, Laurence has served on the Board of Directors of the Literacy Volunteers of Ontario County in Canandaigua. Laurence is a past board member of United Way of Ontario County-Allocations Committee. For many years, Laurence has taught a notary public examination preparation class through Finger Lakes Community College and has been the long time attorney for the Student Body Association at Finger Lakes Community College. On the rare occasions when he is not practicing law, Laurence enjoys woodworking and spending time with his wife, Anne, son, Jeffrey when he is in town, and his dog, Bella who is prominently displayed on our home page.
PETER ROLPH

Peter Rolph was admitted to the bar in February, 2003. A graduate of Hobart College and Syracuse University College of Law, Peter entered the legal profession following a successful career in non-profit public relations. In law school Peter received the 2002 New York State Bar Association President’s Student Pro Bono Service Award and the 2002 Ontario County United Way Volunteer of the Year Award. Peter lives in Geneva, New York, with his wife and two children. He is an avid fisherman and enjoys fishing and boating on Seneca Lake as well as on the Chesapeake Bay.

PAMELA S. VINCENT
Paralegal and Office Manager
Pam has over 30 years of experience in the legal field and has worked at Hall and Karz since 1993. She is currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies at Finger Lakes Community College. Pam lives in Canandaigua and has two children. She enjoys reading, attending classes, and spending time with her family.
THERESA A. LANCER
Paralegal
Theresa A. Lancer received her A.A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies from Finger Lakes Community College in 1998, received an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Community College of the Finger Lakes in 1992, and is a Notary Public. Theresa is primarily paralegal to Laurence Karz but is the principal paralegal for estate files for Hall and Karz. She lives in Geneva and is the mother of one. She enjoys traveling, movies, and music.
BELLA
Bella is a 4 year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. She is the "official"
office greeter. When not doing "legal" research or meeting clients,
Bella enjoys playing with Jupiter, a Golden Retriever, who is Bella's
next door neighbor, or helping on projects around the home. Bella
loves life and is always busy.
